NOIR vs FIZZ Collections

NOIR vs FIZZ Collections

You may (or may not!) have noticed that I have separated my Collections into two ...

I haven't always been very intentional about creating COLLECTIONS!  I come up with names on the fly, and when I started using the dusty pink warp, I called them Fruit Tingles - which is cute, but now they are little more defined.l

The NOIR and FIZZ collections are two distinct collections. Both are handwoven in Adelaide, South Australia, designed for those who want to wear art, not just accessories. But while NOIR leans into darkwave and post-punk tones, FIZZ bounces with the playful pulse of 1980s new wave.

Whether your style is all black and mysterious or you’re drawn to retro hues with attitude, there’s a collection waiting to wrap around your world.

Here's a bit of a description:

🖤 The NOIR Collection - Darkwave Textiles for the Modern Misfit

The NOIR Collection is built on a black-based warp - a deep foundation that anchors everything around it. Think of it like a bassline in a song: moody, grounding, and powerful.

Each piece is woven with rich, layered tones, echoing the darkwave and post-punk aesthetic. These scarves are for the ones who live in black, who find comfort in shadow, and who believe that texture is more expressive than print. The rich colours I use POP against the black.

Because they’re handwoven, no two are the same. The result is a gender-neutral accessory that works with everything from structured jackets to oversized jumpers - wearable art that adds quiet drama to your everyday style.

If you love Bauhaus, Siouxsie, or the velvet texture of goth subculture, NOIR was made for you.

🌸 The FIZZ Collection - 80s New Wave, Woven Softly

Then there’s FIZZ - the brighter sibling. Still handwoven, still full of texture, but with a totally different energy. The FIZZ scarves are built on a dusty pink warp, giving them a soft, retro edge that feels straight out of the 80s new wave scene.

I use the same rich colours, but woven on the dusty pink FIZZ warp, they feel a lot softer and lighter.

Think synth-pop tones, faded album covers, pastel lights through haze - nostalgic but not sugary. Each scarf blends modern design with that distinctly Threefold sense of individuality. They’re perfect for anyone wanting to add colour without losing edge, or to mix softness with structure.

Despite their playful tone, the FIZZ pieces are still neutral enough to work across all genders and wardrobes. Pair them with denim, vintage blazers, or even black-on-black outfits to add a subtle pop of colour and texture.

🧵 Woven by Hand, Designed for Self-Expression

Both the NOIR and FIZZ collections are handwoven on my traditional 8 shaft floor loom in my Adelaide studio. Each warp is planned, threaded, and woven by hand - no machines, no shortcuts. This slow process means you’re getting something truly one-of-a-kind, created with attention and care from start to finish.

Because every scarf is woven from natural fibres and made in small batches, it’s part of the slow fashion movement - sustainable, personal, and designed to last. You’re not just buying a scarf. You’re claiming a piece of textile art that reflects your mood, your era, and your individuality.

Two Moods, One Artist

Whether you lean toward the moody undertones of NOIR or the playful nostalgia of FIZZ, both collections celebrate texture, tone, and self-expression. They’re not trend pieces - they’re woven extensions of personality.

So which will it be?
🖤 NOIR - dark, grounded, post-punk cool.
🌸 FIZZ - soft, nostalgic, new wave shimmer.

Explore both here and find the piece that feels like you.
