Not for everyone!

I am fully aware that I'm not for everyone ...

STORY TIME!

When I first started creating my handwoven scarves, I thought that I could appeal to many different people - niching down too much will limit my audience.

I ensured that my website was not too 'dark', didn't put off people browsing.

But after my ASD diagnosis, I am more aware of the fact that I am just different from most folks - and that's OK!

And I'm pretty 'extra' - not just the way I look, but also my personality - I'm blunt, I'm opinionated, and I'm unapologetically myself.  I don't mask very well! 🤣

I was doing a branding course, and this phrase kept coming up for me:  NOT FOR EVERYONE

At first I was like 'ew, that sounds elitist!'.

But then I thought about it ... and I realised they were absolutely right - my work is not for everyone - it's for YOU!

I can't imagine you'd be reading this if you were looking for 'sad beige' products and artwork ... and someone who looked like an Instagram influencer with a million tweakments 😎

Am I right?  Let me know!
