Mustard / Dusty Pink Vintage weave!I had a request to make a couple more of these for The Jam Factory, and I had forgotten how much I love this weave structure!For the weaving nerds out there, it’s a 4 shaft M & W draft. It’s strange how light the mustard looks against the oatmeal and dusty pink warp - it looks much darker against my usual black warp ;)Head over to the Jam Factory in the city if you want one … saying that, I think I’ll need to make more in this design again!

OK, here is some weekday REALITY!So I usually record videos and take pics on the weekend, because it’s bright outside, and good lighting is KEY! Also, I have the time, because filming really slows you down ;)But since I work a full time day job, I have to squeeze in weaving between everyday stuff … so during the week, I’m weaving in my pjs, when it’s too dark outside to take pics.As soon as I finish my work, I log off, put on my pjs, take off my makeup, then it’s on to the second ‘job’. Well, hello there Bertha! It’s been a while since I’ve worked on this tapestry … winter is a busy time, with Bowerbird, restocking my suppliers, and generally being a great time of year for lovely scarves! :D But now I’m back to balancing my tapestry with my handweaving, and this long weekend has been all about swapping between them, as well as some candle making! In fact, the theme of June for me is BALANCE … how about you, are you good at balance?
