A lesson I have learnt ...

Well, I’ve learnt a lesson! So, I’ve been talking about wearing what makes you feel good, and the colours you love, and getting out of your comfort zone.Well, last week I bought this HOT PINK LIPSTICK!’So what?’ you may be thinking. But after my fave lippy was discontinued (shout out to gemma), I needed to find a new one, and I realised that I had been playing safe.I’m one of those people who only has 1 lipstick … yeah, crazy! And I’m not a ‘red lipstick’ person at all (it’s not my colour!). So I thought … what about hot pink?...
Rainbows on the loom ...

I couldn’t resist! :D Usually my warps are just black … but this one deserved its own photo!Trust me, it’s just as delicious after weaving too. You can find the finished product HERE!
Mr Moon is on the loom!

I’m experimenting with smaller tapestries in the ‘Road Trip’ series, and although Luna Park in Melbourne is not * technically * one of the ‘Big Things’, I am fascinated by how creepy he is.And yeah, I definitely have to do the changing faces of the Sydney one too !This is one of those tapestries that are not making sense right now, but I’m sure it will all pull together soon!!

Just letting you know you can weave while wearing winklepickers, lol!Doesn’t matter if I’m about to go out for a fancy lunch, or just hanging around the house … I’ll always find time to squeeze in some weaving. It’s therapy, y’know? You can find all my delicious creations here on my website :)
